Hydroseeding

When it comes to establishing lawn there are 3 main methods; namely, hydroseeding, laying instant lawn/sodded lawn or planting dry seed.

All of these methods have advantages and disadvantages. Your choice will largely depend on your specific application.

For example, dry seeding can be more cost effective (in some cases), but hydroseeding and instant lawn yield faster results.

Hydroseeding makes use of a slurry. As the name suggests, it is a combination of water, seeds, mulch and other additives.

This technique for establishing lawn offers many benefits that are attractive, particularly on large scale projects. It can potentially save you time and money.

Preparing the land

At Oribi Instant Lawns, we take care of all the groundwork in preparing the land to help your grass take root. Offering the best chances to ensure lush, green growth.

Combined with the inclusion of necessary additives (to counteract your soil’s undesirable, natural tendencies) this slurry will give your grass the best chances of taking.

All these steps, combined with years’ of experience in lawn care, will give your soon-to-be, beautiful lawn the best foundation.

Don’t worry, it is like second nature to us! We’ve been doing this for a long time and have extensive experience in lawns and all things plant related.

At Oribi, lawns can be arranged with or without installation. Installation is provided through our sister company, Idube Landscaping.

Let’s take a look at the process:

If you are familiar with the process, you can opt to lay your turf yourself. Our products are delivered flat-packed on pallets for easy installation (no need to roll out). However, we recommend professional establishment for best results.
